Plantronics created the new Voyager 4200 UC Series as an affordable, entry level Bluetooth wireless headset for business. Plantronics Voyager 4200 UC Series combines many wonderful features you have come to know and love by Plantronics, along with some new features for a great value Bluetooth wireless headset for Unified Communications (UC).
This new series is built for UC applications and softphones such as Avaya, Cisco and Microsoft to name a few, and it meets Microsoft S4B “Open Office” specification. There are two wearing styles: Hi-Fi stereo, for those who want to immerse themselves in their calls or media, or Mono, for those who wish to remain alert to their surroundings. Each headset model is available with the standard USB-A dongle or the newer USB-C dongle (much smaller in size).
Feature Set
You can roam freely with a range of up to 98 feet with Class 1 Bluetooth BT600 Adapter (included) or pair the headset to other Class 1 devices. With up to 12 hours of talk time and 15 hours of listening you don’t need to worry about having your day interrupted by a headset that needs to be charged. New features include Dynamic Mute Alert to tell you that your mute is on, enhanced multi language voice alerts that give you connection status, remaining talk time and more! A new red call indicator light lets others see you are busy on a call which can help reduce call interruptions. And, you’ll hear incoming softphone calls through the headset if you step away from your desk. The folding speakers allow for quick stowing in the included carrying case – great for travel.
