New Headsets Compatible with ManagerPro Software for IT
The new digital version has a 6-pin quick disconnect to plug into Plantronics DA90 USB adapter. The current quick disconnect is 4-pin. The new 6-pin connection + DA90 allows for use of ManagerPro subscription-based software, designed for managing headsets within the IT department.
ManagerPro software lets IT professionals log in and generate inventory and usage reports for asset management, and remotely monitor to manage and maintain audio devices across the entire company. IT can remotely adjust settings and configurations to lock in regulatory compliance settings, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve user audio issues remotely.
For the end user, this means the ability to focus on every interaction. For IT this means centralized control and management. For the customer it means excellent, productive conversations and better customer service.
USB Version also being Released
EncorePro 500 & 700 will also be available in USB versions, without a quick disconnect. These will have inline volume, call answer/end, and mute buttons, like Blackwire series USB headsets.
Plantronics USB headsets offer wideband audio, which delivers richer and clearer conversations. Advanced features include SoundGuard technology that provides hearing protection against harmful spikes, encouraging listening comfort while reducing fatigue. These features are also in built into the DA90 USB adapter mentioned above.
