MDA220 Enables Voyager Focus B825 to work with Landline Desk Phones

Plantronics released some exciting news yesterday about the MDA200 Multi Device Adapter – the firmware can now be upgraded (for free) to be compatible with Voyager Focus UC Bluetooth headset! Not only that, MDA200 is also compatible with new Voyager 5200 UC Bluetooth headset, Blackwire C725 USB corded headset and Blackwire C315/C325 USB corded headsets.  Any of these headsets combined with MDA200 can be used for landline desk phone calls now.

Update August 2017: MDA200 has been replaced by MDA220, and all of the headsets mentioned above as well as new Voyager B8200 are compatible with MDA220.

Now use Voyager Focus UC with MDA220 for desk phone calls and take advantage of Active Noise Canceling (ANC)

What this really means is you can now have the ability to use an Active Noise Canceling (ANC) headset for desk phone calls! That’s why we’re excited about this. Since many companies have gone with open work environments, we receive more and more calls requesting headsets that block out noisy neighbors. People are having a hard time concentrating with all the ambient distractions going on.

Voyager Focus B825 and Blackwire C725 both have ANC so you can focus on your work. ANC blocks out the noise around you so you can concentrate better on calls. You can be in your own productive happy world. And the MDA200 adapter lets you switch back and forth between landline calls and PC sound using the same headset.

We did the MDA200 firmware upgrade at BTP and tested it with Voyager Focus B825 – it works beautifully! You can make and receive landline phone calls on Plantronics Voyager Focus with the MDA200 adapter with firmware V.99.

All you have to do is download and install Plantronics Hub software (free) and anyone can quickly update the firmware on an MDA200. It is a simple step-by-step process that Hub walks you through and can be done in about 5 minutes with huge benefits!
