Problem: The type of headset you have states it can be conferenced together on calls with more than one headset to the same base.
Poly, Jabra, and Yealink headsets all have the ability to conference together more than one unit to a single base station for training purposes. We’ll go over a few of the most common models, and how to conference multiple headsets together.
Solutions:
Poly Savi Headsets-
W8200 & S8200 Office series:
Join Savi headsets automatically-
- While on a call, place the guest headset into the primary user’s charging cradle. The base subscription LED flashes green.
- The primary user will hear a request “Conference requested”. To accept the request, press the primary user’s headset Call button. The base subscription LED turns solid yellow to indicate conference call mode. View conference call status by going to Plantronics Hub > About > Connections > Conferenced headsets.
Join Savi headsets manually-
- While on a call, press the base subscription button. The base subscription LED flashes yellow and green.
- Hold the guest headset’s Volume up until the headset LED turns on.
- The primary user will hear a request “Conference requested”. To accept the request, press the primary user’s headset Call button. The base subscription LED turns solid yellow to indicate conference call mode. View conference call status by going to Plantronics Hub > About > Connections > Conferenced headsets.
S7200/7300 series:
Join Savi headsets automatically (same headset type only)-
- While on a call, place the guest headset into the primary user’s charging cradle. The base subscription LED flashes.
- The primary user hears a triple tone in their headset indicating a conference request. To accept the request, press the primary user’s headset Call button within 10 seconds.
- If the process fails or times out because the guest’s Call button is not pressed within 10 seconds, the guest subscription is terminated, and the guest hears an error tone.
Join Savi headsets manually-
- While on a call, press the primary user’s base subscription button. The base subscription LED flashes.
- Hold the guest headset’s Volume up until the headset LED turns on.
- The primary user hears a triple tone indicating a conference request. To accept the request, press the primary user’s headset Call button within 10 seconds.
- If the process fails or times out because the guest’s Call button is not pressed within 10 seconds, the guest subscription is terminated, and the guest hears an error tone.
- NOTE: Headsets in a conference have independent mute controls. The base only indicates the primary user’s mute state.
S8200 UC series:
- You can set up a conference call with 3 additional headsets.
- While on a call, press the USB adapter’s recessed subscription button with a pen or paper clip. The adapter subscription LED will flash red and blue.
- Hold the guest headset’s Volume up until the headset LED turns on.
- The primary user will hear a request “Conference requested”. To accept the request, press the primary user’s headset Call button. Both users hear “Conference accepted.” View conference call status by going to Plantronics Hub About > Connections > Conferenced headsets.
Jabra Engage Office Headsets-
Engage 65:
Adding headset to a conference call by docking-
- Undock the primary headset.
- Dock an additional headset in the base. It will attempt to pair to the base.
- A voice prompt will play in the primary headset. Press the Call button on the primary headset to accept the additional headset to the conference. The audio will now be shared between headsets. By default, the additional headset will be muted.
Adding headset(s) to a conference call without docking-
(Up to three additional headsets can be connected to one base, without the need to dock the headsets.)
- Undock the primary headset.
- Power off the additional headset by holding the Call button for 4 seconds.
- Hold the Mute button (3 secs) on the base. The conference LED on the base will flash.
- Put the additional headset into pairing mode by holding the Call button for 5 seconds until
the status LED on the headset flashes blue. - A voice prompt will play in the primary headset. Press the Call button on the primary headset to accept the additional headset to the conference. The audio will now be shared between headsets.
By default, the additional headset will be muted.
Engage 75:
Adding headset to a conference call by docking-
- Undock the primary headset.
- Dock an additional headset in the base.
- Tap the Check Mark to add the headset as an additional conference headset.
- A voice prompt will play in the primary headset. Press the Call button on the
primary headset to accept the additional headset to the conference. The audio will
now be shared between headsets. By default, the additional headset will be
muted.
Adding headset(s) to a conference call without docking-
(Up to three additional headsets can be connected to one base, without the need to dock the headsets.)
- Tap on Down Arrow on the base to open the settings menu and navigate to Add headset.
- Tap the Plus Sign to switch to Pair without docking.
- Tap the Check Mark to put the base into pairing mode.
- Power off the additional headset by holding the Call button for 4 seconds.
- Put the additional headset into pairing mode by holding the Call button for 5 seconds until
the status LED on the headset flashes blue. - A voice prompt will play in the primary headset. Press the Call button on the primary headset to accept the additional headset, to the conference. The audio will now be shared between headsets.
By default, the additional headset will be muted.
Yealink WH Office Headsets-
Up to 3 headsets can connect to the base.
WH62/63:
- Dock the new headset in the primary headset’s base when you are on a call with the primary headset.
- Press the Call Control button on the primary headset within 10s to accept the new headset to join the conference.
- The primary headset prompts “New Headset Joined,” and the new headset prompts “Headset Connected.”
- Once the primary headset establishes the call, the audio will be shared between headsets. When the call ends, the additional headset will disconnect from the base. By default, the new headset is muted after pairing.
WH66/67:
- Dock the new headset in the base when you are on a call with the primary headset.
- Go to

> Add Headset.
- Dock the new headset in the base.
- Press the Call Control button on the primary headset within 10s to accept the new headset to the conference.
Outcome: Following these steps, you should be able to add one or more headset to the same call via conferencing.
