Scenario: If you’re using a Savi headset and suspect the battery needs replacement, several common symptoms might indicate it’s time to replace the battery:

Shortened Talk Time: If the headset doesn’t last as long as it used to between charges, this is a clear sign that the battery is wearing out.

Difficulty Charging: If the headset no longer charges to full capacity, or if it takes significantly longer to charge than it used to, the battery might be the issue.

Frequent Disconnections: If the headset starts disconnecting from the base or your device more frequently, especially if it has enough charge, this could be due to a failing battery.

No Power: If the headset doesn’t power on at all, even after a prolonged charging period, the battery may be completely dead.

Battery Indicator Issues: If the battery indicator shows that it’s fully charged one moment and then suddenly drops too low or turns off, this unpredictability could indicate a battery problem

Battery life typically lasts for two to three years. If your battery is more than four years old and you are experiencing issues such as poor audio quality, it may be a good idea to replace the battery.

Steps on how to remove or replace your battery:

  1. To remove the leatherette cushion, carefully detach it from the headset on the side opposite the speaker.

2. Remove the two small screws (You could use the size PH00 screwdriver that comes along with the replacement battery).

3. Once you have removed the cover, carefully detach the battery, and replace it with a new one.

4. Hook the battery wires and gently pull out the battery.

5. Replace the old battery with the new battery.
