Problem: My OpenComm2 bone conducting headset is having trouble connecting to the dongle, has sound issues, or is not syncing with the PC. I’ve heard that resetting the Shokz OpenComm2 Headset helps, but don’t know how to do that!
If you’re having trouble with your OpenComm2 headset, resetting the headset should help! See below for how.

Solution:
- Start with your headset powered off.
- Enter pairing mode by pressing and holding the volume+ button for 5-7 seconds. Your headset will turn on, and then the LED light will flash red and blue to indicate pairing mode.
- Press and hold the multifunction button (located on the right earpiece), volume+ button, and volume- (all three buttons) button simultaneously for 3-5 seconds. You’ll hear two beeps and/or feel two vibrations. This may take several attempts.
- Turn your headset off to complete the reset.
You will need to re-pair your headset back to the Loop110 USB dongle as well!
- Plug the Loop110 USB adapter into your PC.
- If the headset doesn’t pair to the headset after a few seconds, press and hold the small button on the adapter for 2 seconds while it remains plugged in. This will put the adapter into pairing mode.
- With your headset powered off, enter pairing mode by pressing and holding the Volume+ button for 5-7 seconds. The headset will turn on and the LED with flash red and blue to indicate pairing mode.
- Once both the USB adapter and headset LEDs are solid blue, the two are paired together again.
Outcome: Your headset should be more stable now!
