Solution: Solving Bluetooth Headset Connectivity Problems on Your Computer

  • Bluetooth devices recommended connection via BT600 or BT700 dongle
  • While it is possible to directly pair your Bluetooth headset with your PC, we generally do not recommend doing so as it may lead to various issues with your headset.

Battery: Ensure the headset is properly charged by placing it in its charging cradle or connecting it to the USB cable. This step helps verify that a low battery isn’t causing the issue.

Pairing: Ensure your Bluetooth headset is correctly paired with the USB dongle (BT600 or BT700). For pairing instructions, please consult the provided reference. Re-pairing Your USB Dongle with Your Headset.

Sound Settings: After successful pairing, verify that your PC or laptop’s Output and Input devices are set to your chosen headset. To check, type ‘Sound Settings’ on your PC or laptop.

Ensure the selected input and output devices are set to the headset you intend to use. If you don’t see your headset just click the drop-down arrow to see all available devices.

Playback tab and Recording tab: Choose your headset as the default device; you should see a green checkmark next to it.

You may want to try connecting your Bluetooth headset to your PC using a USB cord to determine if the connectivity issue is due to Bluetooth interference. If the headset works properly, then simply turn off the headset and unplug the USB dongle. Wait for 20 to 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn on the headset.
